It’s time again for a new FP general. And of course its a guild related one. This time its Xelia of the Phantasms! The previous FP general released was Tefaera, High Priestess of Ilvasa. Not sure of the level requirement to see her in the CA interface. But you can always use the direct link if you really want her. Here is the lore on Xelia:
Xelia of the Phantasms lives in the plane in between mortals and immortals, between corporeal and etheral. Xelia moves in between the various planes with ease with no apparent motive to be found.
Xelia can be purchased for 30 FP’s. There are three items for her that can be purchased for 25 FP each. Here is the info I have on her so far:
Abilities: Decrease chance Illusion/Mirror Image to be dispelled when defeated
*at the time of making this post I am unsure of the percentages for decreased chance
Level 1: 22/18, X% less likely to be dispelled
Level 2: 23/19, XX% less likely to be dispelled
Level 3: 24/20, XXX% less likely to be dispelled
Level 4: 25/21, XXXX% less likely to be dispelled
Level 4 + 3 items: 27/23, XXXX% less likely to be dispelled

Lore: Xelia wields a powerful want that is able to cast such lifelike illusions that its unfortunate targets are often driven to madness due to their inability to distinguish what is real and what is not.
Lore: An ancient mystical spellbook that seems to have existed since the beginning of time, the Flamewave Tome never leaves Alexandrias side.
Lore: The Signet from Beyond is what allows Xelia to travel in between planes as if they were mere doors in the wall. She will guard the signet at all costs and allow no one to come near its possession.
Her ability will help the Mage class that use the Mirror or Illusion abilities. Actually this general appears to be a weakened version of
Jaelle, from the Wrath Chest. I guess if your a Mage who uses these abilities this general may be worth it.
The real interesting thing to note is that her glove, the Phantasmal Armguards, are just as powerful as the DTG (Death Touch Gauntlets). Yep, for 25 FP you can get a DTG equivalent (seems a waste of FP to me though). Of course you still need the DTG to create Soul Crusher.
This general adds nothing to my war council. Since I will likely never be a mage in guild battles this general is not in my list to purchase!
Any grammar or spelling mistakes in my posts are done to show solidarity for the CA Devs.
(Yes I know its been a while since I posted, been busy in Mundania again. But starting to look at the current state of the game to get caught up).
On October 6 the CA devs released a new FP general: Tefaera, High Priestess of Ilvasa. The previous FP general released was Joan. You must be level 350 to see Tefaera in the CA interface. But you can always use the direct link if you really want her. Here is the lore on Tefaera:
Born under the care of the Praetors of Ilvasa, Tefaera has been sheltered and groomed to become the next high priest of Ilvasa. However, the unknown political motives of the Praetors has stifled Tefaera as she yearns for freedom.
Tefaera can be purchased for 30 FP’s. There are three items for her that can be purchased for 25 FP each. Here is the info I have on her so far:
Abilities: Increases health restored with Revive/Resurrection
Level 1: 18/23, +10 health restored
Level 2: 19/24, +15 health restored
Level 3: 20/25, +20 health restored

Lore: The Staff of Prayers was ordered to be forged by the Praetors under the utmost secrecy such that not even the Ilvasan King was informed of its creation. The staff was then bestowed to Tefaera. What secrets do the Praetors have locked within the staff?
Lore: Of all the magical relics given to Tefaera, the Circlet of Light remains the most significant as it was given to her at birth by her dying mother. The Praetors, however, seem to fear Taefaeras prized artifact.
Lore: The Praetors Seal acts not only as a channeling relic to harness Taefaeras holy powers but also acts a beacon to notify the Praetors of Taefaeras location at all times. The Praetors claimed that it the seal is merely a precautinary relic for the sake of Taefaeras safety
Her ability will help the cleric class heal more damage. The Cleric must have the Revive or Resurrect abilities for this to work. Tefaera is basically a weaker version of Kothas, an epic general available from the Wrath Chest.
Tefaera keeps up the trend of having slightly more powerful generals each month.
This general adds nothing to my war council. Since I don’t do anything with guild battles this is another one I will probably pass on (actually I’m not even in a guild right now).
While I was busy in Mundania CA released a new FP general: Caine, the battle tested! This appears to have been released July 14. The previous FP general released was the Mystical Mage on the Run: Alexandria! It is worth noting that Caine is NOT a guild general!!!! Not sure of the level requirement to see him in the CA interface. But you can always use the direct link if you really want him and he doesn’t show up for you. Here is the lore on Caine:
Caine, an experienced veteran, has turned his back on his countrymen and has offered his skill in battle to those that are willing to pay for his services.
Caine can be purchased for 30 FP’s. There are three items for him that can be purchased for 25 FP each. Here is the info I have on him so far:
Abilities: While equipped, Increase monster damage by X% in exchange for gold.
Level 1: 19/19, +1% damage for 400k gold per stamina
Level 2: 20/20, +1.5% damage for 400k gold per stamina
Level 3: 21/21, +2% damage for 400k gold per stamina

Lore: The Terrible was recovered by Caine as a spoils of war when he and his army defeated the barbarian king, Tyranos the Terrible. The blade, a frightening weapon, puts the fear in all but the most courageous warriors.
Lore: The Diamondsoul Plate that Caine wears is a mark of extreme opulence often reserved for the rulers of nations. However with Caines large coffers, he was able to have one made to protect him in battle.
Lore: The Remnant Shield is a tarnished piece that does not seem to have the reputations associated with his other equipment. However, Caine continues to use the shield. Perhaps it is an important piece of Caines past?
Power wise this general has about the same power level as the previous general Alexandria. The equipment is slightly more powerful than hers. This keeps up the trend of having slightly more powerful generals each month.
What is interesting about Caine is his ability. By spending gold you can get extra damage on monsters. Of course the more stamina you spend the more gold you spend for that extra damage. For instance if you do a 50 stamina attack with a level 4 Caine equipped it will cost 20,000,000 gold to get an extra 3% of damage. I agree with some of the conclusions of some on the CA thread for Caine:
- This general is great if you have VERY HIGH attack. The extra 3% could add up to a great amount of damage on some monsters.
- For everyone else the critical hit generals such as Maalvus and Dolomar
- The gold this general takes for the ability is actually pretty low.
It’s also worth noting that this ability uses unbanked gold. Also, if you don’t have enough gold to fulfill the requirement the ability will not work. When in a monster battle using this ability you will NOT earn any gold while doing attacks. Finally this ability does not appear to work against guild monsters.
This general adds nothing to my war council, but if you don’t have a lot of chest generals he may be worth putting in yours. I bought this general. I don’t really plan to ever use him, was just so happy to see a non-guild general that I had to have him.
It’s time again for a new FP general. Even though this is another guild focused general I think this one is pretty cool (or at least the special ability). This time its the Mystical Mage on the Run: Alexandria! The previous FP general released was the Child of Prophecy Anya! Not sure of the level requirement to see her in the CA interface. But you can always use the direct link if you really want her. Here is the lore on Alexandria:
Alexandria is a mysterious wielder of powerful forgotten magic who has been on the run from the dark necromancer, Zurran. It is clear that she knows a powerful secret that Zurran lusts for.
Alexandria can be purchased for 30 FP’s. There are three items for her that can be purchased for 25 FP each. Here is the info I have on her so far:
Abilities: +X damage with Mage passive ability
Special Ability!!!! If you own Zurran, an Epic general from the Annihilator Chest, Alexandria is equip-able as an item to that general!!! Alexandria will give Zurran an additional +2 damage to the Mage passive ability. What a cool concept having generals equip to each other!! The closes I can think of that they have done to this is Isolde and Tristram from the Onslaught Chest (I have Isolde, but never drew Tristram).
Level 1: 18/20, +1 damage with Mage passive ability
Level 2: 19/21, +2 damage with Mage passive ability
Level 3: 20/22, +3 damage with Mage passive ability
Level 4: 21/23, +4 damage with Mage passive ability
Level 4 + 3 items: 22/25, +4 Max Stamina, +4 damage with Mage passive ability

Lore: The Staff of Veils is the only reason Zurran has not yet caught Alexandria. The staff prevents detection of its wielder from any distance greater than forty paces.
Lore: An ancient mystical spellbook that seems to have existed since the beginning of time, the Flamewave Tome never leaves Alexandrias side.
Lore: It is quite possible that this powerful forgotten spell is what Zurran is after. The secrets to Souls Embrace would possibly allow Zurran to pass back into the plane of the living!
Her ability will help the mage class cause extra damage to opposing towers. A mage will have a +14 damage done to an opposing tower upon winning a battle (offensive or defensive). However, if you have Zuran at level 4 and own Alexandria you will do +20 damage to everyone in the opposing tower.
Power wise this general is has just slightly more defense than Anya. This keeps up the trend of having slightly more powerful generals each month.
This general adds nothing to my war council. I won’t buy her for now, but if I ever get Zurran I will definitely go back and buy this general!
It’s time again for a new
monthly guild FP General. This time its the Child of Prophecy: Anya! The previous FP general released was the Judicator Meekah! Not sure of the level requirement to see her in the CA interface. But you can always use the direct link if you really want her. Here is the lore on Anya:
Often recognized as the child of prophecy and having the favor of the gods, Anya was groomed by her caretakers to eventually lead the army of man against the looming darkness.

Lore: Blessed by the temple leaders from each of the four lands, the Staff of Guiding Light can only be wielded by those with the purest of hearts and the courage to take on the most dire of challenges.
Lore: Contained within the small Heartfire Pendant is a concentrated and very potent energy source that can be consumed when its wearer is in a dire situation.
Lore: Calling upon the magical energies from deities beyond, Anya is able to transfigure humans and demons alike into harmless beasts on the battlefield.
This general is focused towards guild wars (trying to remember the last one that wasn’t??). Her ability will help the mage class get extra have a greater chance of casting polymorph. Confidence can be purchased in the Guild Shop for 1250 Guild Coins. Here is the CA Wiki info for Polymorph:
Polymorph is a special skill that grants anyone in your guild to get a victory on the inflicted target. It costs 1 token to cast and requires the caster to not be in “Stunned” status. If successful, a polymorph icon will appear beside the target’s name indicating that the spell is in effect. The next attack on the target will be an automatic victory for the attacker. The attacker will not receive any damage from the polymorphed target, unless the polymorphed target has Deianira equipped. It is also possible for Rogues that have Evade equipped, to avoid damage when polymorphed and attacked. Polymorph lasts only for one attack and cannot be stacked. The spell blocks the target’s next action, rendering his attack ineffective. He will also gains 50 points if he breaks the spell this way. A guildmate can use the cleric upgrade Heal, Cleanse or Dispel to break the spell. To successfully inflict Polymorph, the caster’s attack strength must be greater than the target’s defense strength. If the caster’s attack strength is lower, Polymoprh will be resisted. Currently, there is only 1 level of Polymorph.
- Level 1: +50% attack strength when trying to inflict Polymorph.
The caster will gain 50% attack power when casting Polymorph. If the target’s defense rating is lower than the new attack rating, polymorph will be inflicted. This skill can be bought at the Guild Shop. As with the description, this skill can only be equipped if you are a Mage class.
So if I’m reading this right a mage will have a +60% attack strength when casting poly (the original 50% from poly, plus the 10% from Anya). If I find confirmation on this I will post it. I don’t play a mage class myself. I know a lot of mages do use poly so I’m guessing this general will make some people happy.
Power wise this general is has the same power level as Meekah, just the attack and defense power are swapped.
This general adds nothing to my war council and I will never use the ability so I will likely give this one a pass. Maybe I’ll try a chest roll instead.
I just had a good conversation with an army member discussing the generals we use throughout gameplay. During the conversation we had another army member amazed because they thought the generals were only for quests and guild battles (there’s what about a million guild generals now???).
Chances are the common things you are doing in CA can be optimized by generals. In this game we have a finite amount of resources, so using generals wisely will help you do more with less. Here is an example of how I switch generals in Castle Age (I use others, but these are my most often used):
Scarlett: Extra Income: Scarlett increases hourly income by 6%. For me this in an extra $17,103,600 per hour ($410,486,400 per day). If you don’t have the 30 FP for Scarlett you can still get 5% income increase using the free general Mercedes.
Sano: SP/Gold Farming: When doing sub-quests Sano is essential!! Using Sano can save a click when farming SP’s from sub-quests. This is the one general I wish they would make an improved FP version of, or even an improved chest general version.
Godric: Level bonus: When about to level I will equip Godric to get the extra 20 energy. Sometimes I use Minerva (with gear) at level up for an extra 8 stamina. For those without FP generals Sephora seems to be a good leveling general with +4 energy and +4 stamina.
Maalvus: Monster Hunting: Triple power attacks are a great use of energy. Using this general I can save more of my energy for quests. Previously I used Barbarus, but I like the increased critical chances from Maalvus.
Serra Silverlight: Fortifying/Healing: From what I understand fortifying/healing uses your defense stat only. With Serra I can move 25 attack to 25 defense and maximize my energy.
Zin: Extra Stamina: Everyday I try to spend about 50 stamina doing PvP. By doing one attack with Zin I get an extra 15 stamina per day to attack with!
Hyacinth: Energy Refills: Hyacinth transfers 20% of stamina skill points to energy. This makes sure I get the most out of my energy refills (used mostly for SP farming).
Solara: Stamina Refills: Solara transfers 20% of energy skill points into stamina. This is a MUST when going for legendary on large monsters.
Adriana: WAR!: Weakening the opposing war council is a must when trying to rank in War! I don’t use her in WoRP anymore since my war council is better than anything I’ve seen there.
Chase: Invasions: Having an extra 20 army members in an invasion really helps in close battles.
It’s time again for a new
monthly guild FP General. This time its the Judicator Meekah! The previous FP general released was the dark ritualist Shivak! Not sure of the level requirement to see her in the CA interface, but you can always use the direct link if you really want her. Here is the lore on Meekah:
After the fall of Azriel, the Angelic Conclave had to work fast to rebuild the Ivory City. The conclaves first order was to create a group of judicators led by Meekah who would be responsible for punishing the evil.
Meekah can be purchased for 30 FP’s. There are three items for her that can be purchased for 25 FP each. Technically Meekah was discovered about a month ago by someone on the CA forum, but I waited until her official launch to do a post. Here is the info I have on her so far:

Level 1: 19/18 Increase Confidence Damage by +10.
Level 2: 20/19 Increase Confidence Damage by +20.

Judicators Wrath, weapon, 20/18, +1 Attack to Meekah (not stackable)
Lore: The Judicators Wrath is the standard issue weapon for the conclaves new personal army. Any impure being that is wounded by the weapon will have their strength instantly sapped leaving them to the mercy of the judicator.
Lore: The Judicators Will is a powerful aegis that is able to deflect even the most powerful of magics. Its defensive capabilities are so great that it is rumored the shield protects its bearer on its own will.
Lore: Conclave Armor is heavy plate mail that has been imbued with powerful angelic blessings and runes. Lesser evils cannot even withstand the powerful aura the armor gives off.
This general is focused towards guild wars. Her ability will help the warrior class get extra damage using the Confidence ability. Confidence can be purchased in the Guild Shop for 5000 Guild Coins. Here is the CA Wiki info for confidence:
Confidence increases warriors’ damage for every victory.
The first attack gains +10 additional damage, the second nets +20 and so on until +50 damage on the 5th attack. When the bonus cap of +50 damage is reached, the skill becomes passive and the damage bonus will be applied throughout the battle even if the skill is unequipped. Be careful as the damage bonus will reset if you lose on the offensive before you reach your 5th win. General Meekah can increase the damage bonus of Confidence.
- Level 1: +10 damage for each consecutive victory (capped at +50 damage after 5 attacks).
This skill can be bought at the Guild Shop. This skill can only be equipped if you are a Warrior class.
So if I’m reading this right a warrior can do an additional 90 damage after 5 attacks in guild battles while Meekah is equipped. I don’t play a warrior class myself, but I have an army member who does and he is happy to get this general.
Power wise this general is following the trend of slightly stronger generals each new FP release. So, if you need a good general for your war council and don’t have epic chest generals she may be worth it.
This general adds nothing to my war council and I will never use the ability so I will likely give this one a pass.
*** On a side note… I am assuming Meekah is a female general, the lore doesn’t actually state this. My reasoning:
- I think Meekah is a girl’s name (could be wrong).
- Meekah’s face is either that of a woman or an effeminate man.
- The breastplate of the armor looks possibly womanly.
